The typical Tiger tray width for the Ford Ranger PX1, PX2, PX-3 (2011 - 2022) is 1860 wide, this sits nicely in between your side mirrors with no obstructions. For the latest For Ranger Gen3 models (2022 onwards) the typical tiger tray width is 1920 wide. The length can vary depending on what ute you have purchased, if you would like a standard length or a longer option.

What is the payload capacity of TIGER ute trays?
Our aluminium ute trays are rated from 1,000kg to 1,250kg payload depending on the series. The Tradie Series handles up to 1,000kg, while the Heavy Duty Tough Alloy range supports up to 1,250kg. All ratings are tested in accordance with Australian Design Rules (ADR) and include the weight of the tray itself in GVM calculations.
Will a TIGER tray fit my ute?
We manufacture trays to suit most popular Australian cab chassis utes including Toyota HiLux, Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-MAX, Mazda BT-50, Mitsubishi Triton, Volkswagen Amarok, Kia K2700, and BYD Shark. How long does fitting take?
Standard tray fitting at our Sydney workshop takes approximately 4–6 hours. Most vehicles are dropped off in the morning and ready for collection the same afternoon. Complex installations with additional accessories (toolboxes, ladder racks, bull bars) may require an overnight stay. We'll confirm the timeframe when you book.
What's the difference between aluminum and steel ute trays?
Aluminium trays are approximately 40% lighter than comparable steel trays, which improves fuel economy and increases effective payload. Aluminium is naturally corrosion-resistant (no rusting), requires less maintenance, and has a longer service life. Steel trays are typically cheaper upfront and can be easier to weld-repair in the field, making them popular for remote mining applications.
Do you offer nationwide delivery

What warranty do you offer?
All TIGER ute trays come with a lifetime structural warranty on workmanship and a 3-year warranty on powder coating and finish. This covers manufacturing defects, weld failures, and structural issues under normal commercial use. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, overloading beyond rated capacity, or unauthorised modifications.
